Questions to ask your Insurance: please check your specific insurance policy coverage carefully by asking the following questions.

  • Do I have mental health benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

    • Do I have co-insurance?

  • Do I have a copay?

  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?

  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

  • Do I have a different out of network deductible?

Cancellations:

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, or you have not notified us that you are cancelling your appointment at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session you scheduled.

Out of Network:

If you have any “out-of-network benefits” for counseling, your sessions may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, depending on your policy. Upon your request, your receipt will include the codes and information required by insurance companies for reimbursement of out-of-network therapy services. It is your responsibility to submit your receipts and obtain any reimbursement from your insurance company.

No Surprises Act:

If you don’t have health insurance or you plan to pay for health care bills yourself, generally, health care providers and facilities must give you an estimate of expected charges when you schedule an appointment for a health care item or service, or if you ask for an estimate. This is called a “good faith estimate.”
