  • Perinatal is conception, anytime during the pregnancy and through the first year after birth.

    PMADs more than just the baby blues, it includes depression, anxiety, panic disorders, OCD, PTSD, and postpartum psychosis.

    It is important to understand that you are ‘postpartum’ no matter the age of your child/children.

  • The "baby blues" typically occur for about 1-2 weeks after your baby is born and usually go away after that.

    It is normal to feel anxious, frustrated, overwhelmed, and irritable.

    Perinatal Mood and Anxiety is more than just the “baby blues”. It can include Postpartum Depression and/or Anxiety, Panic Disorder, OCD, Postpartum PTSD and Postpartum Psychosis.

    You can have feelings of guilt and shame, have a lack of interest in the baby or difficulty bonding with the baby, constant worry, or even thoughts of wanting to harm your baby
