Stephanie Milliron, LPC. Online EMDR Therapist

I’m here to guide you on this journey of self discovery.

Are you ready to stop letting your inner critic control your life?

You’re in the right place.

It’s time to take charge of your life and embrace your authentic self.

Maybe you have already tried talking to a therapist about your problems but didn’t get what you needed out of it. Your inner critic is still running wild. While there is a time and place for talk therapy, sometimes you need something different.

I take a mind/body approach to therapy, incorporating strategies that will help you silence your inner critic, feel less overwhelmed with life, and ultimately embrace who your authentic self. Together we will decide what therapeutic strategies will help you reach your goals, because therapy should look the way you want it to look and help you see real change.

I’m trained in strategies like Mindfulness, EMDR, Brainspotting, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), Coping Skills, and Guided Imagery. The work we will do together will be guided by what you want to get out of therapy and what you want this experience to look like.

Counseling should be a place where you can be your authentic self.

You’ve been ignoring your own needs and wearing a mask for others for too long. You’re ready to embrace your authentic self.

You feel shame and are criticized as soon as you start to show your authentic self. The mask you’re wearing has taken over your authentic self. You feel disconnected from the person you truly are.

You need a judgement free place where you can feel free to take off your mask and be your authentic self.

I’m here to guide you on this journey of self discovery, however that looks to you.

What it’s like to work together.

The most important part of counseling is feeling connected with your therapist. So we will spend time getting to know each other, establish your goals, and decide what you would like counseling to look like.

We will create a solid foundation of coping skills including but not limited to mindfulness, meditation, and grounding skills to help you manage your day to day so you can start feeling better sooner.

We can then get to the root of the problem(s) that brought you into therapy in the first place, so you can heal them at the source.

By the time we're done, you will have the skills to mange your day to day without therapy and feel confident in who you are.

My guiding principles

Authenticity

Creating genuine, honest, and non-judgemental relationships. Come as you are, “flaws” and all.

Inclusion

A judgement free place to come as you are. Everyone deserves the right to be happy and have access to mental health.

Equality

Creating a collaborative environment where you have control over your journey. You decide your future.

Growth

Committing to my own education and growth in order to better support you in yours.

I work well with clients who…

  • Are open and ready to think outside the box

  • Want to grow and embrace their uniqueness

  • Embrace the mind, body, soul connection

  • Are ready to put work in, outside of therapy

  • Discover what you want out of life
